Vahe NersesianVahe Nersesian is Armenian renowned cartoonist. He is well known not only in Armenia, where there were several attempts to intimidate him, but also abroad. Despite the attempts of intimidation he continues focusing on Armenia and its issues. In his works he touches upon socio-political developments, corruption, oligarchs, and nepotism. Nersesian illustrates books and textbooks. He is a director, script-writer, and illustrator of animated video-clips. In the last few years his works have been published on www.MediaLab.am and have drawn significant attention. Besides issues pertaining to Armenia, Vahe Nersesian addresses international issues as well. His works have been among the best in various international competitions and exhibitions. His work was among the best 40 of the 600 caricatures submitted for “I am Charlie” 2015 international Competition in Norway. His work was among the best 15 of 300 submissions to “The Devil gas station 2014” competition, which focused on the policy of Russia and its President Putin.
